Listings with a wording pattern

Collecting

Listing-level measurement is being added to the existing public sample. Host counts cannot substitute for a listing percentage.

Public wording sample

Collecting

At most 1,000 cached public descriptions. No private registrations or Lint submissions.

Which wording patterns appear?

Each listing is counted once per pattern, and once in the overall percentage even if it matches several. Patterns can overlap. Embedded URLs can be ordinary, legitimate documentation. These are our heuristics, not Coinbase’s private rules.

Counts for patterns represented by fewer than five hosts are withheld, including zero. No seller names, hostnames, endpoint URLs or quoted wording are published.

Daily wording trend

Collecting dated listing-level snapshots. We show a trend once at least two are available.

History starts with the first daily snapshot.

Samples are partial and non-random, can contain different listings each day, and are not the whole Bazaar. A change is descriptive; it does not establish a market-wide trend or improvement.

Bazaar departures: collecting paired history

We count only a previously observed explicit CDP active status followed by an explicit inactive status. Missing listings and failed checks stay unknown. We do not infer why anything left.

Collecting

Unknown is not zero. Comparable CDP observations are needed.

No comparable daily snapshot yet.

The observation day is not the exact removal time. Zero means no departure among that day’s explicitly observed endpoints, not zero Bazaar removals.

Keep an eye on your own listing

Free Lint returns a shareable report and heuristic risk score. A low score is not a safety or Coinbase acceptance guarantee. Listing Guard adds a detailed screen for 0.05 USDC; monitoring offers best-effort daily listing checks and hourly endpoint checks.

Methodology

Daily snapshots reuse existing quota-bounded Scout/CDP work. This page starts no crawl, payment or target request. Wording uses up to 1,000 recent cached public HTTPS catalog descriptions (first 2,000 characters each). Rows with invalid URLs are excluded. The percentage is listings matching one or more of the five patterns divided by valid sampled listings; it is withheld when fewer than five hosts match. Earlier snapshots without listing counts remain unavailable, never estimated from host counts. Departures require paired explicit statuses within seven days.

The existing cron refreshes snapshots daily. A dated snapshot remains visible if an update fails. CDP’s policy describes screening; this aggregate does not establish any removal cause.
