This week’s launches: Security Check, Quote Check, Seller Index, Token Safety and free OFAC checks

Five ways to inspect payment and counterparty evidence, with the price and unknown areas visible before you choose a tool.

By SpendPreflight · Week of October 25, 2026, through October 28. This is a midweek product update, not the closed-week usage or revenue report.

Security Check: see what passive evidence covers

x402 Security Check adds a free passive summary to Lint. The full report costs 0.10 USDC and requires an existing complete, current Lint snapshot; it does not send a new target probe or offer a trial.

Use it to review observable configuration and fixes. Replay/idempotency behavior, paid-response caching, payment-header parser behavior and settlement ordering remain unknown from passive evidence. An advertised SDK package/version is not an attestation of what a seller deployed. Merged implementation #220.

Quote Check: compare exact terms before signing

Quote Check compares a supplied quote with usable cached public observations for the same URL, method, network and asset, checking for amount and recipient changes. A usable comparison costs 0.001 USDC; missing, stale or ambiguous evidence returns unknown without charge. No seller request or shared trial is added.

The response identifies the source, time, count and observation window. A suggested atomic cap is informational and is not applied automatically. It is not a market price, payment approval or loss-prevention guarantee. Keep local spending limits. Merged implementation #221 · Client spend-limit guide.

Seller Index: discover a bounded set of candidates

x402 Seller Index returns the top three cached matches free. An extended query, up to 12 results, costs 0.01 USDC only when extra matches are available. No extra matches means no charge.

It ranks a bounded, nonrandom candidate pool using available public observations and matching public Lint metadata. Missing components leave the full score unknown; security score is null. A result is a lead for review, not proof of identity, paid delivery or whole-market coverage. Merged implementation #224.

Token Safety: the existing Base engine on Apify

Our Token Safety Check Actor for Base packages the existing bounded engine at $0.03 USD per token-checked event. Apify’s USD billing is separate from the HTTP API’s x402 prices; consult the live Store quote before running a job.

The result keeps assessment_complete:false and explicit unassessed areas. Sellability, full owner/mint/blacklist/proxy behavior, liquidity custody and locks, holders and qualified non-OFAC scam coverage remain unassessed. No safe-to-buy or complete-audit verdict is claimed. API scope and separate prices · Merged channel implementation #231.

Free OFAC check: paste up to 10 public addresses

The free OFAC address check now accepts 1–10 addresses, one per line or separated by commas. It returns an ordered exact-match result for each from one fresh SDN snapshot. No wallet connection, account, trial or payment is required.

The API retains its single-address format and also accepts an addresses array. Invalid items reject the whole request; missing or stale data gives no determination. A non-match is not sanctions clearance: ownership, transaction exposure, geography and other lists are not assessed. Official-source screening guide · Merged batch upgrade #245.

Choose by the question you need answered

Start with free Lint for an unpaid public challenge, the free OFAC form for exact listed identifiers, or the free Seller Index top three for candidate discovery. Paid products disclose their own evidence and limits; a low score or a passing check is not a guarantee of safety or future delivery.
